PECO has announced a project to upgrade and install new equipment in portions of Chester and Delaware Counties. A letter to customers explaining the project was sent on July 27, 2018 to those in the affected areas and is posted here for you to read below.
The project will involve upgrading and new equipment installations along Route 252 north of Winding Way to the Township border and into Easttown. It will also involve work in the Saint Davids Circle area, the Newtown Road area and the Wyola section of the community. Beginning in mid-September, tree work will be done along the route, followed by new pole (as necessary) and equipment installations.

PECO To Be Performing Tree Inspections and Vegetation Trimming
PECO will be performing power line inspections as well as vegetation trimming during the next several months throughout their power line network in Newtown Township.
