The Newtown Township Historic Preservation Commission was established in 2022, after the Board of Supervisors passed the Historic Preservation Ordinance. The Board of Supervisors appointed seven members - all who demonstrate a profound interest in architectural history, historic preservation and/or community revitalization. Newtown Township remains a staple in local, state and national history. This Commission takes on the duty of maintaining an inventory of historical resources and protecting the artifacts that are incredibly significant to our history.
