A Gorgeous Walk at Garrett Williamson!
Garrett Williamson is a non-profit, 240-acre farm, school, and camp in Newtown Square. It was endowed in 1910 by a prescient benefactor, Elizabeth Garrett, for the support of financially needy children and single women.
And it will host its inaugural Trails & Greenways walk on Sunday, March 6th, at 12:30PM!
Look for the Garrett Williamson sign at the curve on Bishop Hollow Road, follow the beautiful driveway toward the Main Lodge. Park, and meet us at the Pavilion in front of the Lodge.
Our talented guide, Beth Dhunjisha, (who will also have an exhibit of her nature photography at the Newtown Square Library in March & April!), will take us through miles of wooded and open trails. If the long hike is too much for small children, there will be an activity option provided for them.
We'll finish at the historic 1794 barn! (It's in the photo above - on the right, with the silo.) And lucky us, we'll get to see the adorable spring lambs, along with chickens, horses, and alpaca!
Looking forward to seeing you all at this special event on Sunday, March 6th at 12:30!
