Emergency Medical Services / Ambulance

Newtown Township has contracted with Riddle Health Care Services/Riddle Emergency Medical Service (EMS) to provide Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service to the residents and businesses of Newtown Township with highly trained Paramedics and EMTs to staff the ambulances.

Riddle Hospital

Riddle Hospital, a member of the Main Line Health System, is recognized as both a Certified Chest Pain Center and Certified Stroke Center. They afford the best emergency care through the use of the most current technologies and protocols for all emergencies. The ambulances are fully-equipped and the staff trained to rapidly evaluate and treat stroke and heart attack victims. Life saving information is electronically transmitted to emergency departments prior to the arrival of the patient, allowing for more rapid treatment and definitive care in the emergency room with markedly improved outcomes.

Riddle Health Care Services / EMS

Riddle Health Care Services/Riddle EMS will transport patients to Riddle, Bryn Mawr, Paoli, and Lankenau hospitals, and to some Philadelphia hospitals depending upon the severity of the situation. All life-threatening injuries and illnesses will be transported to the closest medical center.
